Terms

Friendly rules for using Snorb.

The short version

The essentials, fast.

Use Snorb to share your stuff quickly and safely. Don't use Snorb to break laws, hurt people, or abuse the service. Your data is yours. We only run the pipe. Snorb is not a backup service, so keep your own backups.

Your stuff stays yours

You keep ownership, we only run the sharing path.

You keep ownership of what you share through Snorb. By sharing data through Snorb, you give us limited permission to store, transmit, and process that data only as needed to share your files effectively. We don't get ownership rights to your data. See Privacy for details.

Using Snorb

Use the service responsibly and lawfully.

Snorb is a file-sharing service. We help you share data by creating links people can access. You agree to use Snorb responsibly and follow applicable laws.

Snorb is not a backup service

Share with confidence, but keep your own backups.

Snorb is built for sharing, not long-term backup. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important. We are not responsible for data loss. We are responsible for making sure what gets shared is what was sent to us. If data is lost, we won't share corrupted data as if it were valid. You can re-share the original content quickly once you share it again.

What you can't do

No abuse, no unauthorized access, no harmful use.

Don't use Snorb to break the law, spread malware, violate intellectual property rights, harass others, or interfere with the service. Don't try to access accounts, links, or systems you're not authorized to access.

Share links and access

Links are access keys, so share them carefully.

Snorb links are designed to be shareable. Anyone with a valid link may be able to access the shared data. Treat links like keys. You're responsible for who you share them with.

Limits, expiry, and deletion

We enforce limits and clean up when needed.

Snorb may apply storage limits, file limits, and expiry rules. We may remove expired, deleted, or policy-violating content, and perform cleanup needed to keep the service healthy.

Service changes and availability

We improve continuously, but uptime is not guaranteed.

We're always improving Snorb, so features may change over time. We try to keep Snorb available, but we can't promise uninterrupted service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend misuse; you can leave anytime.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there's abuse, security risk, legal risk, or Terms violations. You can stop using Snorb at any time.

Disclaimer

Snorb is provided as-is and as-available.

Snorb is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

Liability limits

Liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed by law.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Snorb and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, including loss of profits or business. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid Snorb (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
