You own it
What you share is still yours, always.
When you share with Snorb, you're sharing your data. We don't claim ownership of your stuff: not now, not later, not hidden in tiny legal text.
We care about you, not your data.
No ownership games, no content mining, no weird side quests.
What you share is still yours, always.
When you share with Snorb, you're sharing your data. We don't claim ownership of your stuff: not now, not later, not hidden in tiny legal text.
Your data is not fuel for anything else.
We don't use your data for anything: not indexing, not training, not analytics on your content, not anything beyond making file sharing work.
We carry what you share and stay out of the way.
We don't peek through what you share, either. Snorb is a simple sharing pipe.
Privacy that keeps getting stronger.
We're also building Snorb Secure , with end-to-end encryption so we couldn't read your shared data even if we wanted to.
Only what is needed to run the service and deliver shares.
The operational basics, not behavioral profiling.
To run Snorb, we store account and service data like your email address, password hash, session details, and share metadata such as titles, notes, and timestamps.
If you share it, we keep it available for that share.
We also store the data you choose to share so we can deliver it through your share links.
A link is access, so share links carefully.
Anyone with the link can open what was shared.
Snorb links are designed to be shareable. Anyone with the link can access the shared data, so treat links like access keys.
Data does not live forever by default.
Deleted and expired content is removed from normal access.
Shared data may expire based on Snorb settings, and deleted shares are removed from normal access.
Some supporting records take a little time to clear out.
Operational data like logs or backups may persist for a limited time before cleanup.
Vendors help us run Snorb, not repurpose your content.
Providers process data only to operate the platform for us.
We use infrastructure providers like object storage and hosting to run Snorb. They process data only to provide that service on our behalf.
Security by design, with clear-eyed realism.
Strong safeguards, minimal access, no false promises.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is perfect, but we design Snorb to minimize unnecessary access.
